The College

University of Southern Nevada (USN) is an independent, non-profit, regionally accredited college that started as a Pharmacy School. USN currently offers programs in Dentistry, Business Administration, and Nursing.

One of the most popular programs at the college is the baccalaureate nursing program which is designed to prepare students for entry level registered nurse positions in a variety of health care environments.

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Program

Currently, there is no wait list for January 2011 Nursing courses!  This is fantastic news since most Nursing programs across the country have extremely long wait lists for their Nursing programs.

Cost of Attendance

The tuition for students entering in the 2010-2011 academic year is $27,500 for the first year, $13,500 for the second year.  There are additional fees that add up to about $2500 per year, and an estimated cost for books at $1000 for the first year, $900 for the second.

Students without health insurance must pay an additional $842 per year for USN arranged health insurance.

Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid and college scholarships to help offset the costs of attendance.  As with any college, all students should apply for to the FAFSA to be considered for financial aid.
