UC Application 2011: What Do I After I Apply?
Print a Copy of Your UC Application
You will want to printed a copy of your UC application for your own records, if you haven’t done so already. Log on to the Pathways website using the same e-mail and password you used to work on your application. Once you login, you will have the option of reviewing and printing your submitted application.
Look Out for Two Confirmation E-mail
Check the e-mail you used to log in to the Pathways website once you have submitted your application. You should immediately receive a confirmation e-mail recognizing that your application has been filed.
Check your e-mail regularly and look out for a second confirmation e-mail. You should receive this e-mail four to five weeks have the filing your application. This second e-mail is sent from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service and it confirms that they have received your application.
If you do not receive the second confirmation e-mail contact:
ucinfo@ucapplication.net
(800) 523-2048 (in California)
(925) 808-2181 (outside California)
Send Test Score Reports (Freshmen Applicants)
Freshman applicants, be sure to send your SAT or ACT test scores report! You will need to log on to your Collegeboard or ACT account to send your scores. Sending both SAT and ACT test scores to one UC campus is the equivalent to sending them to all UC campuses you have applied for. You will only need to send your test scores to one UC campus.
Update Your Application (IMPORTANT, Transfers!)
You can log on to your account to update your contact information (i.e. telephone, e-mail, address, etc.).
Transfer students will need to update their application early January. Transfers must report their fall semester/ quarter grades as they are included in the cumulative that the admission officers review.
Decisions
Freshman applicants will receive decision notifications from the individual UC campuses by March 31, 2011.
Transfer applicants will receive decision notifications from the individual UC campuses by the end of April.
Submit Transcripts
Be sure to send your official transcripts to the UC you have chosen to attend by July 15, 2011. Since grades you listed on your application were self-report, they will want to verify the information provided by double checking with your academic transcript.
