Submit Your 2011 UC Application
During the month of November, thousands upon thousands of high school and transfer students submit applications to the various campuses of the University of California system. In addition, on many of these applications, students invariably make minor or major mistakes while filling out and completing the online form. After such mistakes have been made, panic sets in, and applicants wonder hopefully if there is any chance of making changes to or revision their application.
The good news is that you are allowed to make changes to your UC application (roughly four to five weeks after submission), but these changes to are limited to your personal/background information.
Steps To Confirm Your UC Application
Right after you submit your 2011 UC application, you’ll receive an e-mail confirming that you have submitted it properly. Allow approximately four to five weeks time after receiving this email to be notified from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service the receipt of your UC application.
If you don’t hear anything and it’s been 5 to 6 weeks, then you should contact the UC processing service at or call if in California, (800) 523-2048. If you are in a different state, you should call (925) 808-2181 (outside California).
About one month after applying, you can log in to your application to review and, if necessary, change your telephone number, e-mail or mailing address. You can also apply to additional campuses if they’re still open. If you’re a transfer student, about five weeks after the filing period has ended, you are required to update your grades and course records.
