  • Federal Work Study Program

    • The Federal Work Study program is where you work in a job in exchange for the financial aid that you receive in order to pay for you education and living expenses. When not performing a job within the community, 7% of your work study pay will be taken, so it’s important to get a job that is basically providing a community service.

How much community service is needed to get one of these scholarships?

People who review the scholarship applicants want to see those who are very active and not just one-timers when it comes to helping others. They want to see each applicant care about the world that they live in as well as have an urge to help others out.
