College Tools: GPA Calculator
Published on Friday, September 17th, 2010 by Edwina Category: 4 Year Colleges Community Colleges
Foothill College provides a important college tool on their website, a GPA Calculator (click here to access the calculator).
The calculator is usable with schools that use the +/- grading system as well as schools that award “standard” grades of A, B, C, and so on.
If you’re working on a college application, there may be an automatic GPA calculation at the bottom of your listed coursework and grades. If you are confused at how the application calculates your GPA, double check with this GPA calculator. Additionally, certain college majors require a specific GPA to get into the program, so stay up to date with your GPA.
Tips for unit conversion to quarter or semester are available on the website as well (for further help with this, speak with your counselor), and always be sure to verify your grades and coursework with tools like these.
